We idled off around 8:00 am and fished until around noon. What a pleasant morning. We were on a Easter Crappie Hunt. Mission Accomplished. We ended the day with a limit of Crappie. Caught 14 Black Crappie and 1 White Crappie. No throw backs. That is is a pretty good batting average!

Most of the Black Crappie came out of shallow water and the White Crappie came out of 25' fow. We singled pole fished with a small trout float. The lure of choice was BGBS Mo Glo Ghastly Minnow.

The Black Crappie looked so pretty while reeling them to the boat. I believe most of them must have came out of the same litter. lol

Water temp. was 58*.

I just love it when the Black Crappie males put on their spawning colors. At this time of year, they are prettier than Smallmouth Bass. Good report, Bob. emoThumbsup emoBigsmile emoGeezer
