How do you guys tie mono w/ braid on your spools? What knot do you use?

(pics would be helpful)

Thanks!

The Slim Beauty knot is the very best knot to join Braid to Fluorocarbon or Monofilment. It is not hard at all to do. It is the very best knot that will slip through your guides and your levelwinder guide. Many folks use the uni to uni knot which is an excellent knot. However the uni to uni works best with similar lines. With a smaller diameter braid, it can cut your mono in most knots. The Slim beauty does not have that problem. I presonally think that it is much stronger by design.

Here ic a link to a knot site that features the "Slim Beauty". Let me know what you think about this great knot.

Uh...I'll check the box but I have found a few knots that work really well. Thanks for the link LL

I know its not the right way, but I pulled off 75 yards of 12 pound mono. tied a regular little slip knot to the braid and wound it on. Its worked for me before.
