I just thought I would post the BlueRidge Bassmasters is having it`s first meeting of the year tonite at7:00 PM at Ryans Steakhouse in Oak Ridge. If you`ve been thinking of joining a club for the fun and competion, drop by and give us a look.

We have been fishing togther since 1994 and are affiliated with FLW and The Bass Federation. We send 6 members a year to the State TX and you have the chance to fish for all the marbles at the FLW Classic. The size of the club has varied over the years from the beginning of about 15 to as high a 60+ members. We`ve been averaging about 25 the last few years but always welcome new members every year. There has been a revamping of the payout and participation structure but I missed the last couple of meetings so I can`t get specific but I do know that the TX payout percentage has been increased. Hopefully the website http://blueridgebass.orgwill be updated soon to reflect the changes but you can check it out for the overall set-up of the club. Substitute FLW where B.A.S.S. is specified in By-laws.

We fish all the lakes from Cherokee to Chicamauga and a tentative 2011schedule has been submitted for discussion tonite.

I know most of the guys on this forum may be too far away to come this far but I know several CFFers live in the vicinity and no telling how many "CFF lurkers "

Just thought I`d throw it out here. If you are interested but can`t make the meeting tonite (we meet the 1st Monday of the month)we will have a booth a The Fishing Show at the Jacobs Bldg Jan 21-23 or you can call one of the officers on the website. Or leave me a PM.
