I took my daughter down to the bass pro shop in atlanta this past friday . She has always wanted to meet Kevin Vandam . We got there around 3 pm he was supposed to be there at 5 but he got stuck in traffic and wasnt able to make it untill 6:30 or so . She was so nervous about getting to meet him when she got to him I thought she was going to pass out . She just lloked at him and he started smiling it was an awesome moment . He is alot taller than I thought . Well she finally got to meet her hero

i took my daughter down to a bass weigh-in at guntersville several years ago and she got to meet and talk to kvd,he took time to talk to her and sign autographs.its good to see pros that will take time to speak to there fans.she had a great time.

I had an opportunity to eat lunch with Kevin in 1996 at a seminar in B'ham. He and I showed each other pics of our kids. His twin boys and my oldest son were pre-mature at birth, so we shared stories.

Had a chance to talk to him and his wife after the Kentucky Lake Tournament last year and asked how the boys were doing.......he remembered our lunch! At first I thought...he meets thousands of people.....he's just being friendly.....but he remembered the lunch conversation....in detail !

Very easy person to talk to....has no famous attitude what so ever.
