VanDam won today on Kentucky lake. After watching some coverage today online it makes you ask the question Just how good is this guy ?? Hearing some interviews with other anglers you get the impression that none of them want to have to fish against him on the last day. Kind of the way golfers feel toward Tiger Woods. I think we are seeing without a doubt the best ever.

Shane, I have to agree with you. My good friend and Outdoor writer Paul Stackhouse is very good friends with KVD. He's fished with him on Wheeler many times, along with countless other anglers. He feels that KVDs control of his boat, and its positioning sets him heads and tails above everyone else. He is truly amazing. There is no doubt KVD loves the Tennessee River... I'd say he's the best pro on the Tennessee by leaps and bounds. He is the best ever.
