KVD's Winning Hotspot???

OK, I've used Google and the TVA maps in an effort to find this place and am not having much luck. Does anyone know where this submerged grassbed is? I'm hoping to get back down to Guntersville soon and would like to check it out. I'm sure the locals have been hammering it over the past two weeks, but I would still like to see it to determine what made it so hot and find similar areas.

Yeah, and he went way upriver to a spot in the main channel outside a creek.

I bet you could find it if you spent a few minutes with a lake map, theres so many grassbeds there I imagine it would be quite a chore to find the exact spot without a good bit of info.

Jason, KVD was fishing in sauty creek.We drove right past it going to the weigh in.Its near the Bass pro shop store.

There are both North and South Sauty Creeks. Tons of submerged grass beds in North Sauty. Lost the biggest bass of my life there once. Only way you'll know for sure is if a witness shows you.

Ive got the bassmasters "tivo'd" id say they wont tell but ill keep an eye out.

He did fish the south sauty islands, but i expect that he caught nice fish in Sauty Creek? Jason, keep doing all this reseach and one day will kick all there butts. This is just swamp donkey's 2 cent worth. Good to see everyone's post. I'll see you at a CFF tournament soon. Take Care!
