Tough as nails is all I can say. The cold fronts are causing the water temps to drop rapidly and I think the fish are in shock. If they weren't starting to transition toward shallow water, they will be now. As always, fish can still be caught on ledges, but the weather will have to settle down for a few days. Saturday we fished ledges in 20' all the way back to grass in a foot of water. Only caught 2 LM. The baitfish have also disappeared, however I expect them to show up in the creeks in large schools over the next week or so. Surface water temp is in upper 70's. Elev. is below 357 which is over 2' below summer pool. (surface temp was 86 just a week or so ago)

I think there's good news on the horizon though. If the weather stabilzes, bass fishing could be wide open in a couple of weeks. We can only hope!!!!!emoBang
