If I was running the program at L S U today they would be looking for a new coach...LES MILES is a total idiot for not kicking field goals every time he had the chance. He lost the game for a team that stomped Alabama all night long..

Let's not forget that Alabama beat LSU up and down the field during the regular season last year... Alabama lost that game despite their dominance.

For the record, I agree that LSU was better for most of the game last night. Alabama just capitalized when they needed to for the win.

LSU got out of it's players exactly what it had to have to win this game...an A+ performance...Mettenberger had the best game of his college career and they got some turnovers from bama...i agree that they won the game between the end zones with more yardage, first downs, 3rd down conversions and time of possession (+ 18 mins)...but as per usually the coaching decision making was suspect and also they knew what they needed to do in the last 94 seconds of the game to ensure the win and didnt do it...it wasnt pretty for bama but it's a W where it counts and i'm ok with that

That was one of the best games LSU has played all year. But, it was the worst I have seen the Tide play and they still won. I think this year the Tide is in a league all by themselves. Man that leaves a bad taste in my mouth to say that but it is my honest opinion.

This wasn't to say that Alabama ain't good it was about an idiot for a coach that should have had more respect for the effort his team was putting out.Those guys played their hearts out and he blew the game with his stupidity on play calling...

... your right! Mettenberger played the game of his life! LSU played over their head. Bama played their worst game. But ever team has a bad game.

Rudy who do you want them to play? Michigan WAS no. 8 when they played Alabama. Arkansas WAS no. 7 when they played. ole Misss was in the top 20 I believe. Missouri WAS also ranked in the top 20. Miss St. Was no. 7 when they played. LSU Was no. 5. And Tx. AM is ranked for this week. And then I believe they will play a very good and high ranked Georgia in the dome for the SEC Title. If I remember correctly, at one time there were 8 of the SEC teams ranked in the top 20! Just a SEC conference schedule is a mine field initself!

Amen Brother Earl, you can't play in the SEC and say you didn't play anybody. The SEC is a league that an SEC team can beat another SEC team any given Saturday regardless of record or ranking. You come out undefeated in the SEC you have a heck of a team. LSU was too busy celebrating their win on the sideines as well as the field with 52 seconds left on the clock, let their guard down, and got beat!

I agree that Les Miles is the dumbest coach in the SEC. It seems when he has to make a quick decision, he crumbles.

However, I wanted Alabama undefeated in the SEC Championship game and LSU drew up a blueprint on how to beat Alabama. GO DAWGS!!!

I ain't no Tide fan but they didn't get whupped all night,second half yes but 1st half was pretty even what I saw. Looked to me on the tides last possesion that LSU went to that ole familar mustang package that Tenn. fans know very well. They put pressure most of the night on the Tide's qb but only rushed 3 on the last TD Drive. I believe that's what cost them ballgame.

Danny, I believe you are right! They have a blue print. The Dawgs just have to execute! It should be a good'in! RTR!

Terry is right too. The scouting report was that if Bama crossed the 50 the Tigers would then blitz. Thus the screen call to Yeldon. Saban and Nussmeire made the call and said "pray that they blitz!" They did!
