Well, I can finally post a report although it is not near what most of you guys have been sharing, but I want to do my part too. Largemouth and I were invited by our friend, HarleyBullet, to go out fishing last night. We put in around 6:30 just after the storms moved out. I am delighted to report that it was a somewhat productive evening for all three of us. I can't say much about the size except that most were around 1-1.5 lbs. with a few smaller ones thrown in; but, the numbers were enough to keep us happy and wanting to fish all night. We came off the water around 11:30 only because we found out our son was locked out of the house. Otherwise, I'm sure we would have stayed much longer. We started off fishing a bank close to Chester Frost going down river and then moved over to the main channel humps outside of HBSP where we stayed the rest of the evening. Most of mine were caught with a spinnerbait at both places before dark. After dark I changed to fishing plastic on a jighead for better color selection. I caught several more on that. HarleyBullet is a big C-rig fan right now so that's how he caught all of his. Largemouth stuck with the infamous "do nothing" T-rigged Junebug dead ringer that has been working so well lately and caught all of his on that.
As I said before, it is not much compared to what some of you guys have been able to report lately, but it's still fun to share and be part of the forum. All-in-all, we had a great time and we all were happy when we came off the water. It was a very peaceful time to be on the water with a few good laughs thrown in. Hope you all have a very blessed day!
