Well, I can finally post a report although it is not near what most of you guys have been sharing, but I want to do my part too. Largemouth and I were invited by our friend, HarleyBullet, to go out fishing last night. We put in around 6:30 just after the storms moved out. I am delighted to report that it was a somewhat productive evening for all three of us. I can't say much about the size except that most were around 1-1.5 lbs. with a few smaller ones thrown in; but, the numbers were enough to keep us happy and wanting to fish all night. We came off the water around 11:30 only because we found out our son was locked out of the house. Otherwise, I'm sure we would have stayed much longer. We started off fishing a bank close to Chester Frost going down river and then moved over to the main channel humps outside of HBSP where we stayed the rest of the evening. Most of mine were caught with a spinnerbait at both places before dark. After dark I changed to fishing plastic on a jighead for better color selection. I caught several more on that. HarleyBullet is a big C-rig fan right now so that's how he caught all of his. Largemouth stuck with the infamous "do nothing" T-rigged Junebug dead ringer that has been working so well lately and caught all of his on that.

As I said before, it is not much compared to what some of you guys have been able to report lately, but it's still fun to share and be part of the forum. All-in-all, we had a great time and we all were happy when we came off the water. It was a very peaceful time to be on the water with a few good laughs thrown in. Hope you all have a very blessed day!

Make that a triple ditto! :-(

Hey Sunshine .. nice to see you are getting to go out and fish!!! I can't wait to hear you are going out on the boat by yourself and honing up your skills for the next girl's tourney!!

Well, the boat issue is a whole other story. It quit on us Saturday and left us stranded on the lake amidst all the boat traffic. We had fished all morning with no problems except that I zeroed. Largemouth was reeling them in which was a good thing. On our way back to the ramp we made one last stop and that is exactly what it was -- the last stop. The boat wouldn't start and we eventually had to call for help and be towed in. How frustrating!! It's an old boat and we choose not to sink anymore money into it. We are certainly disappointed, but I know that everything will fall into place when it is supposed to so that I can sharpen my boat handling skills. I am being as patient as I possibly can knowing that something better is meant to come along. In the meantime, our fishing buddies are making sure that I get time on the water for practice. I don't know what I would do without them and Largemouth appreciates his fishing time too.

I wait in hopes to join you guys in a tournament sometime in the future. Until then, I enjoy reading your posts and hearing about all the fun. I enjoyed getting to post something about yesterday and will do that any chance I get. If you don't hear from me much, it is simply because I may not have much to share.
