This is very similar to the cabin rental request. I am looking to rent a lake house on the Chick from March 28-April 5. I had a place lined up through vacation rentals, plane tickets purchased for my wife's return flight and a buddies flight down to fish the second half of the week, and vacations scheduled at work... to have the owners tell me the dates previously confirmed, are not available due to their vacation schedule. I am less than excited and the airlines want as more to change the flight than the initial cost of the ticket. emoBang ....

Changing dates is going to be a major headache and a cost prohibitive.

I have exhausted my searches online. I am looking for a place to rent somewhere on the lower end on the Chick (Soddy to the dam area) since that is the area we know the best. I have an email with the Island cove marina but that turns the vacation into a guys only fishing dedicated trip (I have no issue with except that I'm trying to convince my wife that Chattanooga is the best place on earth).

If anyone knows of someone who is willing to rent a house to a few people for the week. Let me know. If not, fishing reports might have to wait until next year.

Thanks guys.

Yeah I had checked that place out last year. With more people, the rate of 300-400/night would be doable, but just over budget for this trip. Thanks for the link though.

I posted about the cabin for rent. it must have got deleted. I think maybe I had it in the wrong place. but I would still like to hear suggestions I was thinking maybe a camp ground ?

Not on the Lake but 5 Miles from Wolftever. It is on Wolftever Creek Nice House That a Friend Of Mine Rents out Joe Jolly # is 423-240-5319 Maybe this will Help

My father-in-law has a place on the lake with large dock across from nuke plant (skull island ramp within a few hundred yards). He doesn't normally rent it except for family but I'll see if he'd be interested. It's 2 bedroom/2 bath with bunk room.

If you decide to try a campground there's a company called "Don't Rough It" that'll deliver a set up a camper for you. I think their number is (423) 421-6130. Might be worth giving them a call.

Thanks for all the options and thoughts. I believe we found a place in Wolftever. We'll be fishing out of a "River Rave" outboard jet. If you see a grey aluminum boat with a guy sitting on the front deck driving (front stick steer), stop by and say hello.

Thanks again for the help!
