lake scum on boat

what is the best way to get the scum of the bottom of my tracker and keep it off.aluminum.

I have an aluminum flatbottom and I bought a dish scrub brush to scrub out my fish bin when I go bowfishing. After a trip when I get back to the ramp I use the scrub brush and run around the boat real quick and get most of is off while its still wet. Doesn't get it all but makes washing it easier.

fish at carters lake and you want get that scum on your boat. emoPoke ...no really, go to the truck stop and buy you some aluminum tank cleaner and a can of polish, this stuff is use to clean aluminum fuel tanks and wheels on big rigs, dont see why it wouldnt work on your boat, id be careful useing it around your decals

If your boat is fiberglass then pick you up some BBS (Bass Boat Saver) that stuff is unbelievable. Just be careful because it will make the boat slicker than snot when it gets wet emoLaugh

Toonbrite is good for cleaning it off but I don't know of anything that will keep it from getting dirty except dry storageemoBigsmile
