lake weiss report for 3/2 & 3/3

Fished Weiss this weekend. Crappie were in Dead Boy and Trotters creeks. I put in at Riverside. Fish were in about 12 feet of water, suspended from about 5 feet down to the bottom. Fished a variety of colors, but a red, black, chartruse jig worked best. Did catch some on dark blue, and dark green. Fish slowed when wind shifted Saturday afternoon. Fish were there, just had spurts of feeding. Great weekend coming up.

Were the fish on flats or relating to a river or creek channel?
