39 Boats turned out today for a cold and windy day on Lanier. There were a lot of fish brought to the scales but not as a normal Feb S&K tournament on Lanier.... Here are the results.

Steve Hales and I finished 1st w/ 14.42

Curtis Love and Steve Townsend finished 2nd w/ 13.40

Adam Postelle and Steve Childers finished 3rd w/ 12.90

Big fish honors went to Stacey Worthington w/ a nice Largemouth weighing 5.98

Report: We caught 11 keepers total today along w/ a couple of shorts, our fish were spread out through the day today...... Our fish were caught on Fish Head/T-Spins, Drop-shots, Spinnerbaits, Jerk-baits, Crnkin, and jig-head finesse worms...... Our biggest spot (4.2) was caught by 8am on a fish-head spin suspended over brush in 35ft of water. We also won the Skeeter Real Money Challenge which paid us an extra $1000emoHoppingmad for winning the Tx while fishing out of a new Skeeter Bass boat..... Good fishing to everyone, time for me to go to bed.

I second what Dhaun said, CONGRATS on the win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very cold tough day but sounds like you guys made up for it with a good take home and a great day on the water.

Congrats guys! Nice fish. I need to get down there and fish from a boat sometime. I've only fished Lanier from the shore and that only once.

Spot King, I like it! I do love my spots, definetly my favorite fish.... I had a beautiful bag of fish going Saturday morning, I had about 10lbs of spots everythings going great AND THEN I accidently caught that ugly 3lb Largemouth in the pic emoDoh
GOOD thing we were in Steve's boat b/c I don't want my livewell's slimed up!!! LOL!!! I'm just kidding I'm always thankful for a keeper in a tournament, even if it is a slimy, hollow headed, bottom feader LOL!! We actually had another Largehead (2.2) in our bag that's not in the picture, I couldn't bring myself to have 2 in the picture, it was our smallest fish and I tried my best to cull it w/ another good spotted bass but unfortunatley I ran out of time.

WELL, all I can say is that today My dad and I had it handed to us by none other than my own Partner and Cousin. So much for the Love! Congrat to you guys, glad someone in our circle brought home the $$$$$$$$$$$.T MAC

And all I can say is this is just a little "get back" for me after getting spanked by you and pops for 3 years..... I'm sure things will be different at Sinclair, are there spots down there yet? LOL! See you bro.
