This report is a little late but I took my buddy Matt out to the Chick to try and catch a mess of crappie. It was cloudy, windy, and very slow. My usual spots did not produce as well as they usually do but we managed 30 or so keepers for his freezer and a several large crappie. We caught them in 8-25 ft of water on red/yellow/yellow seceret weapon jigs and black/bubblegum/green. I have to take him out again and redeem myself but next time the weather will hopefully cooperate.
