This is what I sent to lowrance....They just emailed me back stateing that they will repair or replace it at no cost. I will never buy any other product then lowrance now with customer service like this.
I purchased the Fishing Hot Spots Pro the other day and had this card express shipped so I could use it some before my tournament this weekend. According to the Lowrance web site, units older the 2005 would have to down load a free update from the site. I did this, put it on the a sd card. Placed the card in the unit and turned it on. The unit said "program loading, please wait" when the program finished loading the unit then said "program corrupt, please contact customer assistance". I went back up to my computer, cleared the program off of the card and redownloaded it. Went back to the boat and placed the card in the tray and turned the unit on, "program loading, please wait" This time after the program was done it did not say anything on the screen but was just flashing a white screen and will not respond to any of the keys. This when I contacted ya'll and you sent me the 1.7.0 that was in my unit and working fine before this update. I cut and pasted the two files that you sent to the blank sd card, placed it in the tray and again it said "program loading, please wait" This time the program loads all the way through and the unit appears to power down then back up and just goes back to program loading again. Without the card in it, it just shows the flashing white screen. Please let me know whats going on here or what I can possibly do to get this working properly again.
