I have used lead wheel weights for bullet casting for years. Last week, I got a big surprise. It cost me $38.52 to get a flat tire fixed! When I asked the store manager as to why it was so expensive, he replied that the environmental folks got lead banned as a wheel balance material. They can't even have lead in the store! They are forced to use stainless steel weights which the manager said costs 5-6 times the cost of lead. I'm sure that there are many of us that use them for fishing and shooting. If these people can get this idiotic law passed, what's next?

You just wait to see what is in the pipe line if the bomma is reelected. "You ain't seen nothing yet", as they say. Cass Sunstein, the most dangerous man in America, is the bomma's czar who oversees such crap as this environmental catastrophy. What he has up his sleeves will shut down the coal fired electricity generating plants along with banning much more than lead. Let's hope the folks in Ohio, florida, Va., NC, Coloroda, Nevada, Wisconsin and Iowa do what is right. Go Romney!!

I just had my tires down last week at Wally world and they are still using lead.. both hammer on and stick on. What place used the stainless on yours?
