Went deep, went shallow, on points, on flats. This all adds up to "Peppy Lapu skunked"! emoBang My fishing buddy did hit one on the head with a smoked silver tube bait. emoParty Fifteen hours in three days of fishing and only four keeper bass. Worst days in a long time, but it beat doing anything else. Did see bassbullet today, and it was good talking to her. We'll try it again next time. emoThumbsup

Man, you are hardcore. You got my respect... emoWorthy. There's not too many that would slug away that hard. But you're also the guy who will be there when the fish turn on and everybody else is on the couch.emoBigsmile Were the decoys still there?

<font color="#6600ff">See, you could have stayed home, in your PJ's and enjoyed the ball games like I did.....Did you wear out the right arm slinging baits at the not so hungry fish??? It was a nice day to be on the water...It will pick back up soon....

I'm with you Nighthawk , we threw every thing but the kitchen sink & I finally got a 3.58 in about 1-2 ft around 12:00. out of swift muddy water. She came on a trap. I think it's the first time I've got one in the winter in shallow water on a trap. We had just left another spot, also realy shallow 1-5 feet & realy muddy & were marking fish like crazzy . I think the fish think it's spring time & they are wanting to start beddingemoLaugh Keep at'um they got to eatemoPoke emoThumbsup emoToast

It was a tough day today. We caught 4 bass all L/M no keepers 1 blue gill, 2 white bass and 1 hugh blueback herring and 1 dink herring. Talked to nighthawk and pointer 78. Found out I knew nighthawk other than from the CFF. We fished shallow, deep, rock, wood, points, flats threw crankbait, jerkbait, rattle traps, shakyheads Carolina and Texas even jigs some spoons. All I know to do is trying again tomorrow those bass got to eat sometime.

The two I caught yesterday were in muddy water on points.

It seemed to me and a few guys I talked to around the dock. That the fish fed ( the few that did feed) from aboout 8:00-9:30 and again around 12:00 till 1:45ish yall get that?

We caught 3 of our 4 bass between 10:00 and 11:30. emoScratch I guess the big ones fed between 8-9:30 and 12-1:45 and the little one's between 10-11:30. emoLaugh
