Recently relocated back to TN. Live in Hixson and trying to learn how to fish Chicamauga. I know there are fish there because I see pics but I haven't been able to catch diddly for the past 3 weeks. Anyone interested in spending a Sat morning with me giving me some pointers. I'll bring the boat.

Richard almost everyone on here has different patterns for summer time bass, Ive been finding lots of shallow bass 3-5 lbs while others have found bass deep, the shallow bass seem to be on wind blown points with rock clay sand mix, and trees and or grass on the point, with deep water near by , the deep bass are coming from mid lake humps, and river channels, or area where creeks the old channel meets
You are going to just put in the time and learn the lake to be truly successful day in and day out.
Get a lake map look for features on the map the may have these qualities, then fish shallow early in the day then head deeper as the day progresses

Richard, I would love to take you out if I knew how to catch fish on Chickamauga. I just started last year and this has been one serious learning curve, I fish a lot and I still don't know squat. I do know that what NRG says about the deep fish is true, but I have not caught many shallow at all for a while. What type of lures are you using.
