Has anyone put them on your boat? If so , how difficult was the installation and how are they holding up? They look good but are they worth it?

No. I'm wanting some lights in my compartments and some placed here and there for fishing at night. I fished a tournament last year and a guy had some on his boat and they looked really good. He said they came on a roll and you cut what size you want for the space you want ect. But didn't get to talk long cause it was a evening tx. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had the strips from the roll on my boat last year they were great for a while but yellowed over time and the adhesive came loose. I just got a new set in that i am going to try that seem like they will hold up better.

Ok. Let me know what you think about these new lights if you don't mind. I like the idea of cutting to length and putting them where you want. Does yours have a remote?

I picked up some I don't remember the brand I can look next time I am at Walmart. The were in a clear pack and had a battery pack attached so you could push a button and see them light up. They had 3M backing and were waterproof. Loved them, I put them in two of my lockers 6 months ago and are wonderful. I think they were 18" or so two strips for around $20. I ended up ordering more off of Amazon not the same brand just the strips that said 3M that have not worked out. they were much cheaper in price and they light good but will not stay in place.

I put Bluewater LED high output backlights in the floor of my boat. Works great to see fluorescent line at night. I didn't have much issue rigging them in to an accessory switch on my Bullet and they've held up really well. I've put the Bluewater in different places around the rub rail as well which have held up nicely as well.

I put them in a duck boat, truck bed, and on a trailer. Tape doesn't hold up so I used silicone. Just dob a small amount on the strip and tape until silicone drys. They want come off then.
