Brock Lesnar put the beat down on Randy Couture and got a referee stoppage due to strikes.

The size difference was impressive. It honestly looked like there was two maybe three weight classes between them. Lesnar is huge.

From an MMA site:

In the first round, they had a rough, tough wrestling match in which Lesnar spent more time in the dominant position, but neither man did a lot of damage. But in the second, Lesnar landed a brutal punch that knocked Couture down, pounced on him and continued bashing him until the referee had no choice but to step in.

Randy's age is finally playing a factor in his fights. His most impressive win was against Silvia when he took the belt, and he should have left it at that. Lesnar is a freaking MONSTER. But his MMA game definitely has LOTS of room for improvement. Nogiera will pick him apart I believe. But if he really want to face the best, put him in there with Fedor. Now that man is a beast. He beats guys 50-60lbs heavier all the time

Who was it that Lesnar got submitted by in an earlier fight? Can't remeber who that was but THAT guy was cool to watch!

I missed the Couture fight though..

Thanks for uppdate, Lesner is a beast, mans huge,,
Its hard to overcome that much of a size diferance....

The fight I still cant get over is Mike Brown knocking out Uria Favore in the first round,,I didnt think Uria could be beat..

I don't think Couture's ages has anything to do with it. Unfortunately, I sometimes believe fighters get "punch drunk" and are taken down by shots that would not have hurt them in their prime. You can't take shots to the head and keep on going. Hockey players are sometimes done after only three concussions...look at the Lindro's brothers and many other hockey players. You become way to susceptible...
