I came close on Thursday. Turned too soon and wound up in a foot of water with really thick weeds. Only about 20 yards off the main channel.

I ran on ground in. 2018 with a 11 lb bass in live well headed to Dayton and won the big bass splash 38 degrees and had to get in water to move off bar

Had Fowler with you didn't you. He told me about that up there at the weigh in. Didn't most of the water drain out of the live well? I would have had a heart attack being stuck on a sandbar with a fish like that in the boat. Congratulations on getting it to Dayton and winning the TX.

There is one on the flat across from CFPark right now and it looks like a guy was out of the boat trying to get it off the ground. I told park rangers thinking they might call somebody but he was still out there when I went back and looked 1 and1/2 hours later

It's still there today so my eyes might have deceived me and it may have been someone putting out a duck blind. I need binoculars I reckon
