Lincon county 8 pt

Got this buck Sunday morning on our lease in Lincon co TN. it had a 18 1/2 inside spread and dressed out at 167 lbs. I was watching a road bed that leads up to a food plot and he stepped out at 7:30 I downed him and out steps another big 8PT. a few seconds later a doe comes out and bang doe down. About five minutes pass and another doe steps out and you guessed it BANG doe down. My hunting buddy also got a nice 8pt and two doe's we was done hunting by 8am then the work began. it took us 3 1/2 hours to skin and cut them up and put them in the coolers.

GOOD LORD!!! Six deer in one day! I would not want to have to dress six deer in one day. I have done five in one day at our camp and that was enough. There were five of us. Three guys got one and one guy got two, the fifth guy we think fell asleep on his stand. I bet you guys were spent after that. Jmax

Yea your right jmax I had to do most of the work because the other guy has four broke ribs and can not lift anything. But we got where we do not feild dress them anymore we hang them up and skin them out without gutting them which makes it a little easier to do. what we have is a pully on a big tree limb and a rope tied to the truck and pull them up and start to work. You did notice i said work.

I'm praying for a KILLER weekend myself. Great 8 pointer. Doghouse here on CFF have me one from his last trip up there this past weekend.

we are going back over this Saturday hope to see the other big 8 that walked up on me the day after thanksgiving and could not get a shot. Doe's are in trouble. we have to thin the heard down some we have 750 ac and i see a ton of does everytime i go in the woods.

WTG!!! Nothing like having meat all year long! Lincoln Co has a great deer population and quite a few big deer are harvested there every year.
