Is "lipless crankbait" just another term for Rattle Trap or does it include other lures?

Actually, a rattle trap is a generic term for a lipless crank bait. There are lots of manufacturers out there that sell a lipless crank bait but everyone just calls them all traps.

Booya has been pretty darn good for me and my clients . I personally can't stand red eye shad . They want to turn on their sides too much . I'm a fan of one knockers .

My personal favorites are the Booyahs. I can't tell any difference since the switch, other than Rayburn Red is different, more orange.

Excaliburs are my fav, especially around grass.

I like the Excalibur One Knockers. I use all kinds of lipless crankbaits but I've probably caught more fish on a Red Eye Shad more than anything else.

Rattle Trap is a brand name made by Bill Lewis Lures. I think the Cordell Spot was 1st. Generic would be a cheap no-name knock-off.

They are all about the same. Presentation is most important. I found that erratic stop and go works best for me but, sometimes they want it steady or hopping it off the bottom. There are floaters too that can be worked slowly or weighted to suspend. keeping it in the strike zone longer.
