Little Pigeon River in Sevierville Smallies 6/4

When the wife came up to pick me up in Knoxville sunday after my two week trip to GA I told her to bring the rods and my river bag. Only got to fish for a couple of hours, but got the wife hooked up on her first river smallie. caught 8 and had several more come unbuttoned. All were caught on Rebel Wee Craws (color didn't matter) in current. The one Meredith is holding was so full of eggs she was LEAKING eggs. All fish were revived and released to fight again.

Over looked fishery. I caught a four lb smallie above the bridge in the pic. I used to float it with a canoe and did really good up there. Did you go to Bass Pro while you were there?

Didn't go to BassPro, I went to the basspro in savannah about half a dozen times while I was there stocking up for saltwater fishing. As it turns out you break off a lot of sharks.

Good report and pics! Glad you had a safe trip home and you got to spend some time with the lil woman. Just curious... If it is like my wife. She always out fishes me then rubs it in..emoLaugh Have to let her win most of the time or she would kick my butt the rest of the time.emoLaugh
