Live bait for bass at Parksville?

I see many people at Parksville fishing for bass with bobbers and I'm guessing that they are using shiners... and I'd like to use live bait out there sometime and see what happens. If anyone has some tips on the subject, Thanks, Kevin

Kevin, I think what you are seeing is a lot of folks up there use minnows crappie fishing. I saw a few bobbers that was floating a round up there the other day. Most of those folks will fish a lot deeper than the ones you see on the Chic or Nick lakes.
