I recently had to have my livewell patched and was wanting to repaint the inside of the livewell. I was hoping to get some ideas from you guys on what to use that might seal the inside and not hurt fish. Would using gel coat as the top layer be okay? I was hoping to use something that would hopefully keep any toxins from the patch material from getting into the water in the livewell also, not sure if this might happen but i want to take any precautions to make sure my live well is safe to use.

any suggestions would be great
