I made my Christmas break trip to Logan Martin looking for some major spot action yesterday. The weather was great the water temp was 48 early and 52 degrees by the afternoon. The fish were biting last week so we were excited to be there. We started throwing jerkbaits and cranks in the 0 to 8 feet range. At our first stop my partner hook up with a keeper largemouth and I followed with our first keeper spot. Later in the same area I hooked another largemouth. The rest of the day was much slower. We ended the day with only five total. All fish caught were on crawfish pattern cranks. There were a couple missed on spotstickers. Good trip but the total was not what we were looking for. All fish were small keepers so I didn't make any pictures because we were waiting on a nice mag. spot. God Bless
