Ha! Ha! That is very funny. However I would like to point out that this year I swear every single trip and tournament that Derek has been on in 2015 I either see it or have to hear the story about this huge fish that got away that Derek had and lost. emoRolleyes I mean every time, every trip. Ten pounds, nine pounds and then the next day I am amazed, the fish is bigger and it has grown overnight. emoEek HA! I think he is just feeling the heat, we might have done a little better in that last CBA if Derek would have just boated a bass. emoPoke Jmax

That's pretty good. However, Jmax's crappy line would snap before he lost the rod!

TRUE!!!! But I have changed lines. I use the Red lable Seagar and it does seem to work a ton better. ;) Jmax

Me???? I watched someone throw multiple temper tantrums last year, even changed the brand of line he was using due to lost fish. Mine is only of recent I've lost fish and the 4 or 5 I lost in the fist cba would have been our only fish that day... And were not talking lost fish, we're talking bloopers. You running aground in your boat, falling down the dock at CF and almost throwing the CBA money box into the lake, hooking yourself multiple times.....and we won't mention the mishap last year at Chester Frost in the parking lot that is still haunting me to this day. I can keep going lol

All old news. ;) Your the one this year with the cloud over his head. What did you say yesterday...."If I loose one more big fish I am going to throw a temper tantrum!" emoBigsmile That is not me talking. Your just trying to redirect the attention off of you. emoPoke Then also where is your phone? Oh yea, along with loosing another big ten pound bass you lost your phone. He he...Jmax

People who live in glass houses should not throw rocks. ;)

I have been fishing for 55+ years and have only done that one time. That is losing my rod/reel to a bass on the hookset. But, I had a good excuse. It was raining and the handle grip was wet and I didn't compensate. Jmax's son was fishing in sunny Florida looked like, nice and dry and did this twice. emoBigsmile emoGeezer

I did do that once on a sunny day. I had just put sun tan lotion on and had a hit. Slipped right out of my hands setting the hook. emoBang Jmax

Kinda looks like those that were kicking J-Max butt during one of the weigh-ins in our night tournaments. They literally beat him to death. And on top of it all he lost big fish by a couple ounces and the tournament as well by a couple ounces.

Derek reminds me of a know-it-all young son who is trying to find fault with his daddy. emoBigsmile Settle down son, you will catch a big bass sooner or later. emoTongue

You might take a swim for that one

Your not going to believe it but,...YES!...I took a freaking swim today! Still not sure if Lance did not do it on purpose. emoRedface I was hung up and moved up front to get my bait. I had got down to reach for it. It was stuck on someone's line that they had left. Got my bait and went to stand up all at the same time. Still half out of balance just on the side of the boat while standing up, Lance....my buddy...hits the trolling motor hard the other way from the side I was standing up and I had the boat go right out from underneath me. emoHoppingmad I just about went in head first.

I had one of Lance's inflatable life jackets and that thing went off. emoAngry It made it hard as hell to swim. Got hold of the boat and Lance is going to try to pull me in. emoTskTsk I weigh 240 dry. With all my clothing on and it soaked...I would say 270. I told him to troll for the bank. emoCrazy He did, dragging me behind as he went. emoBadLanguage

Got close enough to the bank so I could stand up and climb back in. Somehow my shoulders stayed dry under my wet jacket but the rest of me from head to toe was drenched. emoMad Cold as heck and 30 miles from the ramp. emoAngry Phone was history, my wallet poured out water, I was not too happy.

Wished I had a video of it, we could win some money on one of those shows. America's Funniest Video. emoGoofy Jmax

(I have not fallen in in years! Then Derek brings this video up and this happens. It was Karma!!! It's all Derek's fault. emoDoh )
