looking for a chevy 350 block.

A good friend of mine was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, he started rebuilding a '75 camaro 3 years ago. He has everything except a motor. I am wanting to build him a motor. I had a 69 camaro 300 horse 350 that needed rebuilt but once I started tearing into it I found that the block was cracked. I have everything to build a motor, except the block. If anyone has a 350 cubic inch block, prefer 4 bolt main, with the original main caps. would like to find a donar motor but may be able to put some cash towards the purchase. thanks in advance.

i got one 350 4 bolt main came out of a 69 chevy c-50 orginal motor,complete with the eyebrow type exhaust manifolds, its complete with water pump belts alt. everything, it runs like a new motor, i dont know the HP on it but it has a single barrle carb,the ones all the dirt track boys want lol..i hadnt really thought much about selling it, i pulled the motor and 5spd tranny out and its been in my building, i thought id use it to put in another c-60 chevy flat bed dump i bought but i sold it before i changed motors ..let me think about it,i might let it go if the guy im trying to buy his c-50 flat bed dump backs out. he should let me know by the weekend. let me ask a few people about a 350 block, i might can buy one for scrape metal prices. i also have a 4.6 out of a 2005 mustang with 33k actual miles,car got totalled in the back but engine wasnt touched, i want 800 for it, complete motor ready to drop in with wiring harness and computer

Canoe fisherman, we met at some malfunctioning gas pumps, in Scottsboro, last spring and I may have what you need. It's just a 2 bolt, though. It's been sitting there for 20 years. I think it's a bare block with the main caps, it could be a short block. I fooled with the late 70's Camaros for years and I think this is out of 79 or 80 but not sure. I have nothing in it and that's all I want out of it. I'm at work now and can check tomorrow, when I get up. If the 2 bolt is OK, you can give me some other things that you might want me to verify. I live in Middle Valley, probably Hixson, to you and could meet you in downtown Chattanooga, one morning or at 11:30 or so, at night.

I'll go home and get it out, look at it and make sure, all is well. It should be but don't want you to make a wasted trip. I think the bore is standard but will measure it, to verify.
