Looking for a good job

Well i got the news today that the company i work for, arcade inc, is shuttin the doors within the next 2 months. They have been in business for over 100 years, and ive Been there for 9 years. Busted arse all those years, and now all im left with is experience! Im a journeyman printing pressman so if anybody out there knows where i can land a job in that field, please let me know. Theres not many good jobs out there right now, so i will probly have to settle for something less so i can get the bills paid. Thanks in advance- Jeremy

Man sorry to hear the news brother. Times are hard for everyone right now, and all we can do is try and get by until things turn a better direction. This election is extremely important in getting our economy turned around. All I know to do is put your Faith where it belongs and remember that This too shall pass...

I'm not sure the election has much to do with it. The economy sucks right now because government, business, and individuals have operated out of their range. Housing won't recover for years and automotive looks to be down for at least another year or two. People got way to over extended on credit and now they will have to suffer while we all try to dig out of this hole.

The plant shutting down has nothing to do with the economy, its a corperate move. We were a union shop, and our owner bought a run down printing company in illinois a few years ago that wasnt union. Over the last 2 years they have trained the employees of that company to do what WE do in chattanooga. The reason we got shut down is all about greed, How to make just 1 more dollar! Guess thats how the corperate world works.
