Any suggestions on a smallmouth guide on the Tennessee river ?

Ben Hayes is a great guide on the Chick. 423-504-1832. If he doesn’t guide on the river he will tell you who does.

Hensley Powell. Super rates . Don't know about small jaw fishing with him, but he is a beast on green fish.

We guide for smallmouth on a seasonal basis... usually cooler months. We frequently mix up our trips (in Chickamauga Tailwaters) .... bass fishing in the AM and then switching over to catfish.

But we don't normally fish traditional bass techniques (with artificial lures). We prefer fishing live bait. Of course you are more than welcome to fish traditional, but you might need to bring your own lures.
