I am looking for pickup truck to pull a boat and for my son to drive. We like Ford F150's, Dodge 1500 and just about any full size GMC or Chevrolet in the 1999 to 2003 year range. I would prefer a regular cab but an extended cab is good too. 4x4 or 4x2 either one is fine with me. The only thing I really don't want is one of the really long trucks or a long bed. I am afraid my son will have trouble maneuvering a real long truck.

My friend has an older model 85 I think 6cly f150 2wd. Real clean, runs great he got it as payment on debt from someone. He uses it on occasion to pull his boat $1500. Maybe less?
