I'm looking for a lease within 2-3 hours of Cleveland. I've been focusing on Giles county and franklin due to their numbers but I'm open to other areas. I have a camper so a spot to park and leave it for the season would be nice. Looking to spend 1200 or less depending on the quality of the lease. Let me know if you have heard of any openings. Thanks

Are you looking to lease an entire property for only $1200? or is that your budget to get in on a large lease?

was a member there till recently TN killing me on out of state license. all hardwood hunting with very few cut overs. tuff mountain hunting but with some real bruiser bucks. Turkeys are everywhere. the lease is 14k acres but is surrounded by Bear Hollow that you have great access to and I think is 16k acres. I think 100 members can have camp year round. the rut is right after Christmas which worked good for me.

I hunt several leases in KY, and as long as traffic isn't bad in Nashville, I can be at any of the 3 in about 3.5 hours from ooltewah. $1200 would make you a player on several leases and the out of state is not too bad. Very intense November rut, shot a buck in velevet, and the chance to shoot a pope and young being pretty common keeps me going back. Not to mention the spaced out, short gun season keeps a lot of bucks in the woods. Just a suggestion. But, I know DSO is a great spot if you are willing to hike the mountains
