The season is not over yet, and I am already thinking about next year. I am looking for any info/opportunities on a new lease (with room for 2 more hunters) within and hour or so of chattanooga. Only partially satisfied with where I have been hunting the last 2 years. A frequent hunter, as is my hunting buddy, we are looking for better land to hunt and take our sons. Not interested in harvesting quantity, just want a place where we can see more deer while in the woods. Got lucky this year and shot my best ever (9 pt), but it was one of only 3 bucks that I saw in approx 18 trips to the woods.
Hoping for a well managed place with enforced rules, and willing to help out with all plantings and prep work. $ not really an issue for quality land.
