Looking for some advice...

Guys,

Tomorrow I am fishing out of the river on Chick. We are putting at Goodfield in Decatur. We make a trip once a year down there and was hoping we could get advice on how to find some good bass.

I would suggest clicking "Search Posts" at the top of page. Put in "bass" as a keyword. Select "Fishing Reports" in the lefthand window. Select either "One Week" or "One Month" in the lower right dropdown menu. You'll find numerous fishing reports regarding recent bass fishing.

Ahhhhh, the upper lake. I have never fished there but I have dreamed about fishing there. If you would send me an email address I will send you some maps of where I would try. The upper lake has a lot of promise! I would love to know if you could catch some good fish in the spots that I plan to fish some day. PM me if you are interested.

I would head down river from where you are putting in at and fish the Moon Slough area. That or run up river and fish the tailwaters of the dam.
