and I see where it says "State Wildlife Management Area" kinda north of Harrison bluff, and Patten Island, but I dont have a clue what they are refering to. Anybody got any ideas?? </p>
I think that you can still buy the maps on line at the TVA Map Store. Here's a link: https://maps.tva.com/#
There are two sets of maps of of Chickamauga and two sets of some parts of Guntersville. i have both sets. You can also get a very reasonable set of navigation maps from the map store that is water proof and bound in a set to navigate from one end of the Tn river to the other. Have you ever seen the maps from TVA? There is useful but different info with each set. The black and white set has the most info but is hardest to read. The blue set is easier to read and has the stump beds easily seen but doesn't show channels deeper than 20 feet at summer pool. The navigation set has only structure info but no info about cover like stump beds. The best thing about the black and white maps is that they show most of the springs and the old channel routes even deeper than 20 feet. If you want to look at them, go by the TVA map store on Hickory Valley road just a short way off Bonny Oaks here in Chattanooga. If you have any more questions PM me.
