Lookout Lake

I have been thinking about changing things up a bit. I have thought about putting in a lookout lake not far from cloudland state park.

Does anyone have any suggestions, thoughts or advice on this lake? Probably will hit it this upcoming Sunday morning.

I live not far from Lookout Lake on Lookout Mtn., have fished it some, never had much luck. It gets quite a bit of fishing pressure, most folks keep everything they catch, has not been restocked in last 15 years. city Lake @ Lafayette might be a better choice. My 2 cents!

I didn't realize that it had that much fishing pressure.

I grew up fishing that lake, got heavy pressure in late 80's- early 90's. Seen some 5 lber come out of there on jig. And all were removed from the lake and put in different lakes. Good place to take kids, lots of bluegill
