Hey guys, I have lost some of the electronics throughout my boat. Dash gauges work fine but I have no bow lights (stern light still works) aerator, livewell, or bilge. I have checked the fuses in the panel but they seem all fine. Is there something else I need to check? All wires seem to be ok.

The boat is a Sprint 277 Pro Tournament if anyone needed to know.

Thanks in advance.

Check for a blown bulb on the bow light, also check for corrosion in the contacts in the bow light socket. See if you have juice to the pumps, it might be that they decided to go out at the same time, they stay in water most of the time, might be corrosion there too.

Also check at the battery. Some boat manufactures put fuses in line to most of the bigger equipment, (bilge pumps, areators etc.) either at the battery or in front of the pumps. Mine has fuses in both places.

Sean,

It is a simple problem in the wiring. The current is not getting where is should. Get yourself a circuit tester such as

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=43700

and start at what doesn't work your way back or as we say in maintenance,

"find the last thing that works".

Whatever it is, it is real simple, like Doc says "a bulb" or as Fisherpal says "a fuse", or as we say in maintenance,

"its usually the simplest most obvious thing".

Be methodical and you will find it.
