Spent all day putting out trees and pallets on Loudoun and Tellico. We put out 125 to 150 trees on lower Tellico and parts of Loudoun. I got to spend taxpayer money; burning fuel, dropping cinder blocks, and putting trees right where I wanted them. What a great day. Crews will work two more days and will then move to Douglas.
(There are all kinds of FLW wrapped boats running around on Loudoun and Tellico)

You know Carl, it would be great if future events could be held on the weekends. My fishing club has talked for the past few years about helping out doing this but since it's during the week we can't get enough people off work to do so. Thanks for helping out. I sure wish I could have created my own little 'honey holes' today.

TWRA has tried to set up weekend events over the last several years. All of them have met with failure. Alot of people say they will show up, the sad truth is they don't and they do not have the decency to call and say they are not coming. The TWRA group of guys who do the work are just like the rest of us, they would like to have some weekend time with their families and to pursue their own interests. I worked an extra day last Sat. so I could take Tuesday off. I am fortunate that I have the ability to do that, most people don't.
