Another great week on maybe the best trophy Spotted Bass lake in the country. As with the past few weeks we've had to do a little of everything to get bit this week. We've caught multiple fish from 5ft-70ft deep this week on everything from Jerkbaits, Spot Sticker Jig Heads tipped w/ Big Bite Shaking Squirrels, Spoons, Drop Shots, Red Rooster Float N Fly, football jigs, and even somedays with livebait. It seems for numbers the best bite right now is fishing 20ft+ 1/4oz Spot Sticker Jig Heads rigged with Big Bite worms like Shaking Squirrels or finesse/trick worms in dark colors.

Pictured are, Eddie N and bro in law who fished with Bill on Tuesday. These guys fished all day in the rain and were treated to a great day of Spotted Bass action boating approx 25 Spots. Eddie smashed a 5lbr right out of the gate with a Jerkbait and the guys also worked the fish over with Spot Stickers, Spoons, Drop Shots, and Float N Fly's before ending the day w/ some livebait. Thanks again Eddie for the trip!

Also pictured are some huge Spots caught by Ron Moon while working on his jerkbait game on Sunday and Doog and friend Josh from earlier this week. Everyone has boated big fish this week and had a great time. Hope to see some of you guys at the show this weekend up in Dalton!

I want to invite everyone to come see me at the Northwest Ga Hunting and Fishing Expo this weekend, January 20-22nd. Adam Broughton former Product Manager/Engineer with Humminbird and Co-founder of biggeorgiaspots.com will be at my booth as well so if anybody has electronics questions or problems we can probably help/advize. I'll also be offering discounted gift certificates on trips and will also have an assortment of rods/reels and a new set of Cabelas Guide Wear I'll be selling. Please stop by and see me, I'd love to meet you more of you guys

They sure put those largemouth to shame don't they? I always love these spot pics, even though I'm a cat guy.

Sam you'd love these Coosa Spots, they might as well be a green Striper.
