My family and I recently moved from West TN to Chattanooga. I have already done some fishing at Chickamauga dam but haven't had much luck there. I'm hoping that I can pick up some advice from those that have more experience locally.

I agree. It's probably really good down there at first light. Once fall sets in, it can be really fun down there! </p>

About the only place a bank fisherman is on an equal footing with a boat fisherman is in the tailrace of dams. When water is running (current present), fishing is at its best.
