I will be on the lower Nick this weekend. We are wanting to have a little family get together. Which would be best place for that? We are looking for a picnic or 2, bank fishing, swimming, and restrooms near by.

With Shellmound, you have the added bonus of being close to the dam where you can quickly fish in the tail race.

Thanks to all replies. Family get together didn't happen as planned. But I did get to fish 2 days in a row.
Caught a few bass and 1 catfist up by Anchor Inn yesterday. I caught 6 bass, 1 turtle, and alegator gar today at cole city boat ramp.
