lowrance 135 problem

I have a Lowrance 135 that is now 2 years old and used maybe 20 times.
Just now when it is turned off it turns itself back on after about 30 seconds.
I turn it off and again it comes back on.
This has me stumped.
anybody have any ideas as to what is going on?

I bought my Ranger 520 brand new in 2006

I had a similar problem with mine once when it got wet. I brought it in the house and let it dry out real good. No problems since.

Pull the unit off the boat and check the screws on the back. Lots of times the screws rattle lose and moisture gets in the unit. Got me how? Let the unit dry out and then tighten the screws. Hope this helps you. Has happened on two of my Lowrance units.emoScratch
