Lowrance cables for Stucture scan

Ok I am going up to Sevierville Sat to BPS to get the LSS1 with the 150 rebate. I currently have a HDS5 on the bow and am putting either a 7 or 8 at the console. My question is what cables will I need to both units can use the Structure Scan and what cables come with the LSS1 in the box. I figure a power cable and transducer I am just wondering if they at least put one cable to go from the LSS1 unit to a head unit? I do not need to network the units but do want both to be able to access the Side scan.

Seems like you would be shooting yourself in the foot paying both gas to get up there and tax on the unit. Order online and save both!
LSS-1 will come with 1 ethernet cord to go from the box to one head unit. You will need another ethernet cord to go to your other unit if you want to display SS images there.

Same here or if your like me and just want to get it local so if you have a problem, you have a face to talk to about it not someone on the phone. Bought my 7 , 8, and SS from Tom at Fish-n-Fun. They took care of everything and actually saved me the price of a cable, I was told I needed some extra cable that was like $50, and helped me set everything up too. Had an issue with my 7, two days he had a new one waiting on me to pick it up. Good people out there for sure. JMO!! emoThumbsup emoThumbsup

Actually I am taking my motorcycle up and really dont mind the ride... As for tax, BPS charges tax on their online orders. I dont know if Lowrance is the ones giving out the rebates or if its just BPS.. Maybe I should e mail Lowrance and see what they say... Thanks for the tips, now I know I only need to buy one cable to go from the LSS1 to my front unit. I am not against buying local and if anybody knows of a place local that is going to have the same deal I will gladly do business here.

The Rebates come from Lowrance. You have to go to www.lowrance.com and download the form. I know where you can get a better price; but I don't do installations.

127-30 LOWRANCE ETHEXT-25YL 25 FT ETHERNET EXTENSION CABLE or 127-29 LOWRANCE ETHEXT-15YL 15' ETHERNET EXTENSION CABLE is the part you need depending on length. There seems to be a shortage of these cables lately.
