Well I have decided to bite the bullet and replace my Lowrance-125 with a Lowrance GPS. I have narrowed the search down to a Lowrance LCX 26C HD and possibly the Lowrance LCX 111C HD. If anyone is familiar with the 111C HD and or the LCX 26C HD I would appreciate the pros and cons of each and most important is the difference in price worth the upgrade to the 111C HD ? Now to prove my ignorance I have got to ask... Is there a way to have two monitors on one transducer/antennae? I would like to have a monitor at the front of the boat as well as at the driver's seat? I am placing this in a Triton 21 X.</p>

I can assure you that you will not regret the move to install GPS on your boat. I can not answer your other questions since I am a Garmin guy. Lowrance has a Customer Service Dept. that can answer all your questions on the dual monitors and what you need to make the connections. There was a thread a few weeks ago where the subject of two monitors was discussed.

I read an article recently about the newer Lowrance devices being 'plug-n-play' with the ability to network multiple units. If I understood it correctly, you could use two monitors with one transducer and share the map card.

i will be able to help you a little in a week or so. I just put a 332c on my tr21 and cant wait to get it on the water. I am currently trying to read up on the thick manual that comes with it. I am trying to find the put fish in the boat button. it seems to do everything else so it must have a button for the fish to jump in the boat. I got mine hooked up yesterday so i will get back with you in a wekk or so. I am heading to the water today. I also ordered the fishing hotspots map cards for it. let you know soon........

Jimmy ...lowrance has a product emulator that you can download from the website....I just started playing with it a couple of days ago and it is pretty cool......much easier than standing by the boat and trying to learn all the things it will do. You can also down load one of their enhanced lake maps and load it into the emulator and play with the gps too...
It`s just like using the real thing . Did you get the Mapcreate 6 too?

i just order the fishing hot sppots for the south and the east......they are the sd cards that have all the maps on them.....hope they work well. I looked at the navionics but could not justify to my better half another 4oo bucks on this unit........199.00 for each of the navionics gold........i give 99 each for the hotspots ones
