I'm going to purchase one of these items. I have researched both, but those who have one of the electronics please give me your feedback on which is is the best in your opinion? emoBang

Use the search button at the top. This has been discussed many times. I have the Hummingbird and I love it.

Seach in the sonar/gps thread, for me it would be Lowrance, I own 2 hds 7's and want a hds 8.
Go with what you are used to. I have Lowrance and like them because that is what I know. Hummingbird would be my favorite if that is what I was running. Like the old saying "the best boat I ever had is the one I got now".
