I hope they offer a software upgrade. It will suck if you have to buy the new units to get this new technology

The older units we have, doesn't have a hard drive, so we dont have the memory for it. I did notice the prices were about the same without the rebates they are offering on current HDS's.

My hds has a hard drive....it's six months old....Lowrance shoud offer a software upgrade to people with HDS units prior to his new feature.

I would think that would work. Looks like this new feature just needed more horsepower so they have a fasster processor in the new ones.

i checked out some pic's on other web sites and it kinda reminds me of putting my navonics 3d cd in color on my structure scan,,,think i'll try and save some money,buy that time we will see if they got any issues,
