I'm replacing the Humminbird 400TX in my bow and can't decide which of these units to buy. Both are in my price range and I know there are better units out there for more $$. I'm just not spending it.

Anyone have any experience with either of them ?

Pros....Cons ?

Thanks

Both are good units for the price, come over to Academy and play with them to see which one you like best,I will be there Sat from 9-1 if you have any questions about them ,just look me up Taylor

Lowrance DSI does not provide traditional 2D sonar. For a bow mount unit the Mark5 Pro is the best choice of the two. Humminbird 570DI will do down imaging and 2D traditional Sonar. Similar price point.

I'm leaning toward the Mark 5X Pro.

But, now I have another question. What's the difference between the Mark 5X and the Mark 5X Pro ???

After all the reading I've done, the only difference I'm seeing is the price.

Am I missing something ??

The biggest difference I see is that the Mark 5x is a single frequency, 200KHz, finder whereas the Mark 5x Pro is a dual frequency , 83KHz/200Khz finder; which has to do with the cone width of the transducer signal. The 200KHz model is a narrower cone with higher definition where the 83KHz is a much wider cone with less definition. I prefer models with both so you can switch back and forth depending on what you are looking to find.

I have the 4x-pro on the bow that I have liked pretty well so far.

Since the Humminbird 570di was brought up, I'm wondering about just the 570 model. I don't need the Di model.

Pros ....Cons ?

And how does it compare to the Lowrance Mark 5x Pro ?

Thanks.

I hate second guessing myself. lol

I just ordered the Lowrance Mark 5x Pro from one of our forum sponsors.
