Lowrance Network Question

[Cowboy Up]

Just upgraded to an HDS 8 on the console and successfully networked it with an LMS-520C on the bow via the Blue NEMA 2000 network. I was wanting to run the Evinrude interface cablefrom my E-TEC to the HDS 8so that I may see my Engine information. Does anyone know if it's possible to run the interface cable through the older blue network or do i need upgrade to the red network? Thanks for the help!

Also, if you want to keep up with fuel storage you will need the data storage device. EP-85R Part # 120-73 $79.95
