Lowrance question

I recently bought a Lowrance x37 tx fishfinder. Its nothing special just a 4 in. screen and black and white but it show depth so it works for me. My question is when its in the water it gives me the bottom line and the temp but the screen is nearly all covered in grey it looks like I'm over top of one constant bait ball. Is this cause by my trolling motor or maybe the transducer needs to be adjusted. Thanks for any advice.

The sensitivity might be set to high.

Sounds like the 'grayline' setting is too high. Go to Lowrance.com and download a PDF file owner's manual.

Thanks guys. emoThumbsup I downloaded the manual and the sensitivity was at 95% so I turned it down and turned down the greyscale also. Hope this makes the difference I'll find out this afternoon.
